DAY 1:

Leave Nairobi in the morning to Arusha/Moshi for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2:

Driving to the National Park gate beginning the climbing at Marangu (1860). Ascending through the tangled tropical rainforests at the waterfalls with picnic lunch to Mandara hut(2700m). Dinner and overnight at Mandara hut.

DAY 3:

After breakfast we ascend through rolling alpine meadows, with giant heather trees. Enjoying the flora and views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Packed lunch on the way to Horombo hut (3720m). Dinner and overnight at Horombo hut.

DAY 4:

We proceed to ascend after breakfast through the rugged rock, giant grounsel and lobelias landscape on the open Moor, to the Alpine desert. Packed lunch on the way to Kibo. Dinne and overnight at Kibo Hut (4703m).

DAY 5:

Early in the morning (1. 00 am). We begin the final ascent through the desert, ice and snow to the summit Uhury peak (5895) via Gillmans point (5685m) on the crater rim. Then we descend back to Horombo via Kibo. Packed lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut.

DAY 6:

After breakfast we descend back to Mandara gate collecting certificates and drive to Arusha.
